Alan Ayckbourn’s classic play ‘Absurd Person Singular’ returns to the stage, offering a sharp and humorous critique of 1970s middle-class life. Set over three Christmas Eves, the play follows the fortunes and follies of three couples: Sidney and Jane Hopcroft, Geoffrey and Eva Jackson, and Ronald and Marion Brewster-Wright. This play promises to deliver both laughter and poignant social commentary, capturing the era’s complexities.
The show runs at The Stoke Rep Theatre from Tuesday 10 to Saturday 14 December 2024 at 7:30pm each evening, with a matinée performance at 2:30pm on the Saturday.
