Regent Theatre & Victoria Hall Account North Staffs Mind As Their Charity Of The Year

The Regent Theatre & Victoria Hall are recognising World Mental Health Day by announcing North Staffs Mind as their nominated charity of the year.

Staff from the Regent Theatre & Victoria Hall will be working together to raise funds through different initiatives for this great cause, as well as both venues providing space for the charity to raise money and awareness in their foyers.

North Staffs Mind’s mission is to provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They work to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. They are a flexible and enabling organisation, supporting individuals to make choices.

With over 40 years’ experience in providing innovative mental health services, North Staffs Mind deliver a growing range of mental health services that are based around the individual and changing needs of their clients, and work in partnership with a wide range of local organisations to support the wellbeing of people who live and work in the local area.

This partnership will also allow the provision of mental health training for Regent Theatre & Victoria Hall staff and support for the wellness of all teams.

Theatre Director Frazer Hoyle said, “We’re really excited for this partnership with North Staffs Mind. Mental health is a cause that is very important to all our staff at the Regent Theatre & Victoria Hall and we’re so happy that we can help to raise funds and support this amazing local charity and the vital work that they do in our communities.”

Steve Channon, Income and Engagement Lead at North Staffs Mind, said: “We are so excited by the potential of this partnership. We are an independent charity and are totally reliant on our own fundraising. The support of the Ambassador Theatre Group locally, will provide us with the platform we need to promote our cause and the work we do to the widest possible audience”.
