The Regent Theatre has today announced on Tuesday that Stoke-on-Trent’s favourite panto star Jonathan Wilkes is back for this year’s pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk this Christmas. Returning to the stage from Friday 15 December 2023 – Sunday 7 January 2024, Jonny Wilkes will star in the title role of Jack Trot. In what will be his 19th season at the Regent Theatre panto, Jonny is no stranger to the stage. This week the National Theatre is touring a new production, Shut Up, I’m Dreaming,created by physical ensemble theatre company The PappyShow, to St Thomas Alleyne’s School and the Victoria Hall in partnership with the Regent Theatre & Victoria Hall in Stoke-on-Trent.
